Xander Nelson and Forest City & Friends

Rescheduled from December 10, 2022 Xander Nelson fearlessly fuses the joyous intensity of garage rock and pop-punk with the soulful swagger of blues. His music gives you both something to pump your fist and shake your hips to. Forest City and Friends is a collaboration of Portland Rock-and-Roll luminaries. The band features members of Twisted Roots, Akela Moon, Endless Interstate and more giving the project many different genres to pull from.

DRAUDUGA with Regals & Mother Earth Freedom Band

New Hampshire natives Regals make their Sun Tiki debut, sharing the stage with Portland's favorites Draudiga and Mother Earth Freedom Band. This will be an amazing evening of Rock and Roll and Twang- an event not to be missed! ~ Draudiga lurks in the dusk, in the sleaziest corner of a haunted glade- where the dryads and the wood nymphs Sleep in Safety, head to toe Death Rock, covered in desert dust and strung out on old Gun Club and Hasil Adkins records while maintaining the airy whimsy of Kate Bush and the toothsome menace of Lydia Lunch. The songwriting project of Reesa Wood, Draudiga is from Maine ~ REGALS is Rock n’ Roll group from the New England area founded by Rocky Regal, Merkle & Christopher J. Brün. ~ Mother Earth Freedom Band is the outfit of partners-in-fuzz Tara and Brian Cohen (of Fur and the Rattlesnakes) alongside Maine DIY journeyman Mike Cunnane.

Say Zuzu & Palomino Motel

We are excited to announce the return of Say Zuzu, New Hampshire's legendary alt-country band. Formed in the early 90s, Say Zuzu grew up alongside Wilco and Old 97s, echoing their rock and country influences. Say Zuzu is celebrating the release of "No Time to Lose'' , the band's first album of new material in nearly twenty years. It’s due out on Strolling Bones Feb ‘23. Joining Say Zuzu is Palomino Motel, the double lead vocal, soulful and slightly psychedelic Americana country-rock collaboration between Natalie Mishell and Spencer Albee.

TREE with Sunrunner & Exclave

Playing heavy fast punk/hardcore with grooves and breakdowns, TREE created their own signature sound while touring the country through the 90s. Now TREE is back to continue their work and hitting the road bringing out old fans, making new fans, and selling out shows. Same old dreams and messages- even more relevant today. Joining them are Portland's own thrashdoom band Exclave and heavy prog giants Sunrunner!

An Evening with SOULE MONDE

SOULE MONDE ~ We are honored to welcome Russ Lawton and Ray Paczkowski, better known as Soule Monde, to the Sun Tiki stage on Saturday, March 4. Soule Monde is avant funk born of the syncopated minds of power drummer Russ Lawton and organ wizard Ray Paczkowski. The “duo” is cemented into an indestructible unit, where bold improvisational leaps are interpreted telepathically and reciprocated effortlessly. Paczkowski has an intrepid ability to simultaneously tame the Hammond B3 and clavinet, filling Soule Monde's sound with beautiful and dynamic melodies. Lawton is the consummate ‘pocket’ drummer, driving the groove further without ever losing a step, or Ray. This is the jazz-duo your parents warned you about.
